Il Dubbio

A mouse and a crocodile were long-time friends. So, one day the crocodile said: ''Mouse, I can't find my maracas anymore... I'm afraid I've eaten them!'', his friend didn't think twice about helping him.
The crocodile's stomach, however, is more crowded than one would expect the mouse is not the only one to have embarked on this search. A doubt then arises in the little mouse's mind: what if he had been eaten? Impossible, a friend would never do that... or would he?
